Chinese Elements

Wei-sheng is a audio drama set in Republican-era China, portraying a romance born through poetry and lost to circumstance. Framed by traditional storytelling, it captures how voices suppressed by class and convention survive only within fiction—until all that remains is an unspoken promise: “When the qin and se are in harmony, all is well” (琴瑟在御,莫不静好).

This is a sound work by four creators based on the idea of a review as the memory of a moment in the past.

Xiang-Yu-Guang is a twelve-episode original audio drama set in an imagined ancient world, combining elements of romance and traditional Chinese aesthetics.

It tells the story of Jiang Lingzhi, a frail yet intelligent young noblewoman from the Jiang family, who crosses paths with Prince Shen Pei and General’s daughter Xiang Rou. The three meet in childhood and grow up together, forming a vivid coming-of-age narrative woven with friendship, duty, and quiet affection.
